DESCRIPTION:The Construction Leadership Program (CLP) classes invite all CAWV members to take part in the upcoming Battle of the Classes: Build a Bike Event\, taking place on Friday\, September 26\, 2025\, at 11:00 AM at Boyd CAT in Nitro. This exciting event combines friendly competition and community impact as CLP classes compete to build bikes for local children in need.\n\n\n\nThe goal is to purchase\, assemble\, and donate 50 bikes to children in the Kanawha Valley area\, in partnership with the Union Mission\, Kinship Foster Care and Children's Home Society Grandfamily Services.\n\n\n\nDuring the event\, the CLP classes will face off in a series of fun and engaging challenges designed to test teamwork\, leadership\, and problem-solving skills while assembling the bikes.\n\n\n\nTo help meet the goal of 50 bikes\, CAWV members are encouraged to sponsor a bike for just $150. Each sponsorship includes a bike\, helmet\, and a custom CAWV mini vanity plate.\n\n\n\nAll CAWV members are welcome to attend this event to help build bikes\, network\, or support their favorite CLP participant/class.
