DESCRIPTION:Join the CAWV for a Work-Zone Safety Seminar which will feature speakers from American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA)\, OSHA and Encova Insurance on Friday\, January 10\, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Encova's headquarters in Charleston. The training will include OSHA's segment on preventing runovers and backovers\; ARTBA's Roadway Safety Plus which includes an overview of common hazards and work-zone design\, setup and control issues\; and an introduction to the ARTBA Foundation's certification program for Transportation Project Professionals (SCTPP Program).\n\n \n\nThis training is for project supervisors\, foremen\, inspectors\, planners and designers who are in decision-making positions from a project's inception through completion. The SCTPP portion of the training has been accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under the ISO/IEC 17024:2012 international standard. The seminar also fulfills one of the CAWV/ Encova Safety Program seminar requirements. The fee is $35 for CAWV members and $50 for future members.
