The Contractors Association of West Virginia (CAWV) is pleased to offer its annual Aggregate Technician Certification Training to help individuals prepare for the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) certification examinations required under the agency's Quality Assurance Program.
Course Schedule
January 11–15, 2027
Training begins Monday, January 11, at 8:00 AM. The course concludes Friday, January 15, at approximately 4:30 PM.
Participants should refer to the official registration packet for the complete daily schedule and examination information.
Testing
The written certification examination will be administered as part of the course. Participants should review the official registration packet for examination requirements and scheduling information.

Registration Information
Participants taking the written certification examination must be seated and ready to register at least 30 minutes before the scheduled test time.
The registration fee includes:
- Course instruction
- Training manuals and handouts
- Workshop materials
- Continental breakfast and lunch each training day
- Continental breakfast on the testing day
- Break refreshments
What to Bring
Participants must bring a laptop, iPad or similar tablet device for testing. Participants must also have access to the 2023 WVDOH Standard Specifications during the course and testing. Printed copies are acceptable, or the specifications may be downloaded to the testing device before arriving for class.
Participants are also encouraged to bring:
- WVDOH Construction Manual
- Applicable ASTM and/or AASHTO Standards
- Calculator
- Pencils
- Notepaper
- Straightedge
- Highlighters

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received at least three business days prior to the course start date to receive a full refund.

Fees/Admission
CAWV Members: $345 per person
Non-Members: $445 per person.
Registration includes course instruction, training materials, continental breakfasts, lunches, and break refreshments. Lodging is not included.
