The CAWV has partnered with the West Virginia Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) to provide flagger training that is certified by the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA). The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) has passed and adopted a Supplemental Specification that requires ALL flaggers on WVDOH projects to be certified by passing an ATSSA certified training. The first of these trainings will be held on Thursday, March 24, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in conjunction with the West Virginia Construction and Design EXPO. There will also be an additional training on March 25 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. The cost for CAWV members is $125 per person and $175 for non-members.
